When I was a child I happened to be in girl scouts for a couple years but I never liked it that much and wanted to join the boy scouts but I was told i couldn’t because I was a girl. Now that I look back on it I’ve been thinking that boy scouts and girl scouts are really quite sexist. Hear me out, in girl scouts we learned to sew, cook and camp (barely) and we did equipment like sell cookies. Now I’m pretty sure thats what most all girl scout troups do. Now my brother was a boy scout and they got to go camping at various seats, build equipment like catapults for fun, learn to tie knots, learn to make fires, go climbing and more. Now seriously, out of those what can guys do that girls can’t?? The girls get to sit in a small room and learn how to sew pillows while the guys are out learning how to make fires and save lives. Personally I reckon that’s sexist in a way. Does anyone agree with me?
